Job Title: Fleet Fuel Administrator – Petroleum Logistics

Location: Wadala East, Mumbai

Department: Fleet Operations / Fuel Management

Reports To: Fleet Manager / Head of Operations

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Fleet Fuel Administrator to join our growing petroleum logistics operation in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in fuel issuance, trip-wise consumption tracking, reconciliation, and vendor coordination. This position is key to ensuring cost efficiency, operational compliance, and data integrity across our fuel supply chain for commercial fleet operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Issue fuel to drivers based on trip distance, designated route, and company approved mileage benchmarks as per officially earmarked standards.

2. Track and reconcile actual vs. planned fuel usage post-trip, identifying and reporting discrepancies.

3. Maintain fuel inventory logs, issue records, and vehicle-wise consumption sheets.

4. Coordinate with drivers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth fuel management.

5. Generate daily/weekly/monthly fuel usage and variance reports.

6. Ensure full compliance with internal fuel control policies, audit standards, and safety norms.

7. Assist in driver communication and training related to company fuel procedures.

Key Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience:

  • 3–6 years in fleet operations or fuel control, ideally in petroleum logistics or bulk transport.
  • Strong understanding of truck mileage, route planning, and fuel efficiency calculations.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Accurate record-keeping and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with fuel logbooks, trip sheets, GPS/telematics tools, and ERP or TMS platforms.
  • Excel proficiency and experience in handling master data records.
  • Trustworthy, meticulous, and able to follow documented procedures with limited supervision.
  • Strong communication skills for working with drivers, managers, and fuel suppliers.

Work Environment:

· On-site at fleet operations hub (Wadala, Mumbai).

· Daily interaction with drivers, fleet supervisors, and vendors.

· Availability for early morning or late-evening dispatches.

· Occasional travel to fueling stations or vendor meetings may be required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
