Fleet & Logistics Manager

At Eagle Mining Company (EMC) , we are seeking a Fleet & Transportation Manager to join our leadership team and take full responsibility for managing and optimizing our truck and tipper fleet. This role is critical in ensuring operational continuity, maximizing fleet readiness, and achieving the highest standards of efficiency, safety, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational & Strategic Leadership

Lead and oversee daily fleet operations to ensure timely project support with maximum efficiency and reliability.

Cost Control & Efficiency Optimization

Monitor and manage operating expenses, implement fuel optimization strategies, reduce maintenance costs, and enhance tire and spare parts management.

Safety & Compliance

Ensure strict adherence to occupational safety standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining full vehicle compliance and operational readiness.

Performance Monitoring & Data Analysis

Analyze fleet tracking systems and operational data to improve uptime, reduce downtime, enhance productivity, and strengthen overall fleet performance.

Team Leadership

Lead and develop operational supervisors, maintenance teams, and drivers, fostering a disciplined, performance-driven, and professional work environment.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Logistics Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet and transportation management.
• Strong preference for direct experience managing tippers and heavy equipment fleets.
• Proven ability to analyze operational data and make KPI-driven decisions.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, and crisis management skills.
• Proficiency in fleet management systems and related operational software.
