Fleet Maintenance Coordinator

Overview
We are hiring a hands-on Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to take ownership of our equipment and keep our operation running at a high level.
This role is a mix of shop work and field response—you will diagnose and repair equipment in the shop and respond to breakdowns in the field when they happen.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair heavy equipment, trucks, and small engines
- Perform both in-shop and field repairs across locations
- Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime
- Own and execute preventative maintenance schedules
- Track and manage maintenance using company systems
- Maintain DOT equipment compliance
- Organize and maintain a clean, structured shop
- Order parts and manage inventory
What This Role Is
- A mix of shop and field work (not tied to one location)
- A fast-paced, problem-solving role where priorities shift
- A position with high ownership and responsibility
What This Role Is Not
- A purely administrative or coordinator position
- A slow, predictable, in-shop-only role
Qualifications
Must Have:
- Strong mechanical ability (hydraulics, electrical, engines)
- Diesel experience
- Ability to diagnose and fix problems independently
- Experience with heavy equipment or similar machinery
- High level of ownership and accountability
Nice to Have:
- Fabrication / welding experience
- CDL

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
