Overview

We are hiring a hands-on Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to take ownership of our equipment and keep our operation running at a high level.

This role is a mix of shop work and field response—you will diagnose and repair equipment in the shop and respond to breakdowns in the field when they happen.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy equipment, trucks, and small engines
• Perform both in-shop and field repairs across locations
• Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime
• Own and execute preventative maintenance schedules
• Track and manage maintenance using company systems
• Maintain DOT equipment compliance
• Organize and maintain a clean, structured shop
• Order parts and manage inventory

What This Role Is

• A mix of shop and field work (not tied to one location)
• A fast-paced, problem-solving role where priorities shift
• A position with high ownership and responsibility

What This Role Is Not

• A purely administrative or coordinator position
• A slow, predictable, in-shop-only role

Qualifications

Must Have:

• Strong mechanical ability (hydraulics, electrical, engines)
• Diesel experience
• Ability to diagnose and fix problems independently
• Experience with heavy equipment or similar machinery
• High level of ownership and accountability

Nice to Have:

• Fabrication / welding experience
• CDL

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
