Job Summary The Fleet Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of company vehicles, ensuring fleet safety, operational efficiency, and compliance with regulations. The role involves scheduling maintenance, tracking vehicle performance, and coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance for all fleet vehicles
  • Monitor vehicle condition, usage, and performance
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulations
  • Communicate with external service providers and negotiate repair costs
  • Track fuel usage and optimize fleet efficiency
  • Respond to breakdowns and arrange emergency repairs
  • Prepare reports on fleet performance, costs, and downtime
  • Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance supplies
  • Support implementation of fleet management systems

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, or related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience in fleet maintenance or vehicle operations
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures
  • Familiarity with fleet management software
  • Good organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities
  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports
