Objective:
Ensure fleet availability, safety, and DOT compliance through inspections, diagnostics, and road tests, contributing to a safe, reliable, and efficient operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspections on trucks and trailers
• Conduct road tests to validate unit conditions
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and safety issues
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations
• Coordinate repairs with internal/external shops
• Evaluate drivers during road tests
• Track unit status and availability
• Document inspections and reports

Requirements

• Technical degree in Diesel Mechanics or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in fleet maintenance or inspections
• Knowledge of diesel systems, brakes, and transmissions
• Intermediate English
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)
• DOT Inspector certification (preferred)
