We're seeking a dependable, highly skilled Fleet Mechanic / Mobile Diesel Technician to help us maintain and improve our fleet of dump trucks and support equipment.

About the Role

This position is primarily contract and on-call, with the potential for increased hours as operations continue to expand.

Work may be completed:

• In our clean, fully equipped shop
• On service calls in the field
• On scheduled preventative maintenance days
• During emergency breakdown situations

Equipment You'll Work On

• Dump trucks
• End dumps
• Wheel loader
• Skid steer
• Service truck
• Pickup trucks
• Shop equipment

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems
• Troubleshoot air brake systems
• Repair suspension and steering components
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Conduct DOT inspections and repairs
• Diagnose electrical issues
• Complete hydraulic repairs as needed
• Perform welding and fabrication repairs when necessary
• Make mobile service calls
• Maintain accurate service records
• Recommend preventative maintenance improvements
• Help establish maintenance standards and procedures

What We're Looking For

• Experience working on heavy-duty diesel equipment
• Strong diagnostic abilities
• Working knowledge of air brake systems
• Suspension and steering experience
• Welding and fabrication skills preferred
• Ability to work independently
• Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus)
• Reliable transportation
• Professional communication skills
