Raya Foods; one of Raya’s subsidiaries is hiring a Fleet Operations Specialist.

What will you do

• Fleet Management: Oversee the operation, and overall performance of the fleet, ensuring all vehicles are fully utilized.
• Data Analysis: Analyze fleet performance data through a dashboard to identify trends, optimize operations, and improve efficiency, extract regular reports accordingly.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all vehicles/drivers meet legal and safety regulations, including inspections, registrations, maintenance, and insurance.
• Scheduling & Coordination: Plan and coordinate loading/unloading schedule according to functions’ needs.
• Budget Management: Monitor and manage the fleet budget and submit a monthly report for it.
• Supplier Management: Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to obtain best prices within the market.
• Safety Programs: Implement and enforce safety programs to minimize accidents and ensure driver compliance with safety regulations.
• Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues related to fleet operations, such as breakdowns or driver concerns.

What will you need?

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or relevant field.

Interpersonal Skills:

• Functional Skills.

Technical Skills:

• Experience in implementing and managing warehouse management.
• Understanding of transportation regulations and compliance.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Ability to develop and implement fleet optimization strategies specific to warehouse operations.
