Fleet Sales Manager – Commercial Vehicle Sales

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Fleet Sales Manager to lead our sales team in promoting and selling our fleet vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in outside sales, particularly in B2B environments, and demonstrate exceptional negotiation skills. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage the sales pipeline while fostering relationships with clients to drive high-end sales. The Fleet Sales Manager will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve fleet sales targets.
  • Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a smooth customer experience.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new business opportunities through cold calling and outbound sales efforts.
  • Utilize CRM software to track leads, manage the sales pipeline, and analyze performance metrics.
  • Conduct presentations and public speaking engagements to promote fleet offerings to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials that highlight fleet features and benefits.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Oversee inventory management and control processes to ensure availability of vehicles for sale.
  • Train and mentor junior sales staff, providing guidance on best practices in sales management and customer engagement.

Experience

  • Proven experience in outside sales, particularly within B2B environments or automobile sales.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing high-end sales deals.
  • Familiarity with CRM software for managing customer relationships and tracking sales activities.
  • Experience in retail sales or dealership operations is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in public speaking.
  • Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Projected Total Compensation: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
