FLEXIBLE FORKLIFT TRUCK DRIVER/PACKER/MACHINE OPERATOR (MAINLY NIGHTSHIFT)

We are looking for a competent forklift truck operator who will also drive the clamp truck (loading vehicles and offloading reels). Our company supplies paper to the removal industry packed in 5, 10 and 12.5 kilo parcels either hand wrapped or machine wrapped, therefore a large amount of lifting is involved. The successful applicant would be trained to hand wrap along with off loading the plastic wrap machine and initially basic operation of one of our three sheeter machines. More advanced training will be undertaken as the employee progresses.

Training will consist of 2/3 weeks on day shift, Monday to Friday 6.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. before moving to night shift which is 6.30 p.m. to 4.30 a.m. 4 nights per week, Sunday to Wednesday. There would be a possibility of covering the occasional day shift if necessary.

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
