Placement Nanny Position Details
Part-Time Nanny Opportunity | Tigard

Schedule: 1 day a week (Wednesday's preferred, but open to Thursday or Friday)
8:00 am - 5:00 pm; 9 hours

Pay is $21/hour

About the Family:
Both parents work from home, in a dedicated office space, so must be comfortable with that environment. Care is for their infant. They have one cat, who mostly keeps to themselves.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, one-on-one care for their child
• Support daily development through play, tummy time, and sensory activities
• Follow his feeding and sleep cues (okay with some contact naps)
• Enjoy outdoor walks and fresh air whenever possible
• Maintain a screen-free environment

If you are someone who has 2 or more years of professional childcare experience and have a warm, calming yet imaginative and playful personality then we encourage you to apply!

We're hiring professional, responsible nannies who are passionate about working with children and ready to build strong, long-term relationships with families.

• Experienced Caregivers: Minimum 2 years of professional childcare experience (nannying, daycare, teaching, etc). 1 year of experience can be substituted for related education.
• CPR & First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain).
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate with parents, follow care plans and update parents at end of day or throughout.
• Reliable and Professional: Punctual, trustworthy, and ready to work with high-quality families.
• Reliable Transportation: Willing to commute within the Portland metro and surrounding suburbs if doing on-call/maintained care with various families.
• Background Check Required: All applicants must pass a national background check.
