Job Advertisement: Flexo Machine Operator

The Flexo Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining flexographic printing machines to produce high-quality printed materials according to job specifications. This role ensures production efficiency, maintains print quality, and follows all safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Setup & Operation
• Set up flexo printing press according to job orders and specifications (colors, substrates, plate alignment, ink viscosity, etc.).
• Adjust machine settings to achieve correct registration, color matching, and print quality.
• Quality Control
• Inspect printed output to ensure accuracy and quality standards (color consistency, registration, print clarity).
• Monitor print runs and make necessary adjustments during production.
• Identify and correct issues such as misprints, color variations, and machine malfunctions.
• Maintenance & Safety
• Clean and maintain press components including rollers, ink fountains, anilox rollers, and plates.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs or adjustments as needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Production & Reporting
• Record production data such as job numbers, run times, and material usage.
• Communicate with supervisors, quality inspectors, and other team members to ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensure jobs are completed within deadlines and meet production targets.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of color theory, ink systems, and printing materials.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
