Flight Dynamics and Control Engineer

Key Responsibilities

* Algorithm Development: Design, implement, and optimize flight control algorithms for stability and maneuverability in various VTOL or fixed-wing platforms.

* Autopilot Integration: Configure and tune open-source and proprietary autopilots (e.g., ArduPilot, PX4, Embention Veronte).

* Simulation & Modeling: Develop high-fidelity 6-DOF models, performing Model-in-the-Loop (MIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.

* Flight Testing: Analyze flight logs (MAVLink, Dataflash) to troubleshoot performance, tuning, and stability issues.

* System Integration: Collaborate with software and hardware teams to integrate sensors (IMU, GPS, air data) and companion computers.

Required Qualifications & Skills

* Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Aerospace, Robotics, Mechanical, or Control Systems Engineering.

* Technical Skills: Deep understanding of flight mechanics, linear/non-linear control theory, and multibody dynamics.

* Software Proficiency: Strong skills in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, C/C++, ROS (Robot Operating System), and Gazebo.

* Experience: 2–5 years in UAV development, specifically with fixed-wing or VTOL systems, and familiarity with BVLOS operations.

* Testing: Proven experience in hands-on flight testing and sensor calibration.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
