Flight Support Officer

Performs Flight Support activities in support of company flights. Perform the planning, arrangements, and flight services, follow up for all support services for company flights while on shift. Ensuring compliance with all safety, security & quality requirements. Assist in and perform day to day work assignments related to flights. Assist in flight support and logistics services, coordination with FBOs’, delay management and information distribution. React immediately to any emergency or security reports and make proper notification to Flight Operations Center leaders.

OBJECTIVE:

Flight Support duties are performed in support of fleet turbo jet/turbo prop fixed and rotor winged aircraft at the Aviation Main Base, Ras Tanura or Tanajib bases. The fleet comprises fixed wing aircrafts such as Boeing 737-800, Gulfstream, Hawker 900XP, King Air 350 and Air tractor 802 & Rotor wing aircrafts such as AW139 and A109E.

Incumbent receives direction from the Unit Lead and provides on job training to new hired employees. Shift work is required.

Key Accountabilities:

• Daily coordination with all teams about the flight logistics and support services status

• Provide the highest standard of assistance in relation to the administration of flight operations activities and to assist lead flight support officer with the execution of flight operations and coordination of aircraft ground support personnel and activities

• Oversee flight operations equipment and facilities

• Maintain required statutory documents as per the Flight Operations Center manual provide responses to Customer queries referencing available resources

• Arrange required Over flights, landing and Airport slots (where applicable)

• Coordinate with all necessary service providers and vendors such as ground handlers, fuel providers through approved suppliers etc

• Maintain information delivery systems

• Maintain the documents circulating within the operations department

• Provide responses to Customer queries referencing available resources

• Ensure information reaches to all relevant staff including the pilots and ground crew

• Arrange for & supervise maintenance work (when FBO involvement is necessary)

Education: Bachelor's degree recognized by the ministry of education

Professional Qualifications: Job Task Standard (JTS) and Valid SAG Driver's License required
