About the Role:

We are looking for a Test Pilot / Flight test Engineer to leverage their flight testing of agricultural drones, the UAV pilot would be responsible for testing and troubleshooting of all research and development drones. As an UAV pilot you will be working along-side engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure and expertise. Commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality outcome is essential.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Major Duties:

• To pilot UAVs for flight testing activities.

• Assess Flight performance and key aspects of developed UAV’s.

• To perform role of Flight test engineer as required.

• Perform UAV inspections and acceptance tests for flight activities

• Plan, schedule, and carry out flying activities

• Manage flight records and flight data

• Coordinate with design teams for flight test inputs and updates

• Create/manage/update flight test processes and documentation

Other Duties:

• Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, and procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner while delivering a world-class service.
• Contribute to cost-efficient usage of all applicable resources to reduce wastage and unnecessary expense.
• Manage self and identify opportunities to take part in change initiatives, programs and projects that reflect international best practices and changes in the competitive environment.
• Adhere to all relevant HSE procedures, instructions, and controls so that GA provides a safe, world-class, secure, and environmentally responsible service to customers, the public and its own people.
• Identify opportunities to drive continuous improvement in one's scope of the area.

Experience, qualifications, skills required:

• B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering or any related discipline.

• Proven experience in flying UAV’s/ Drones.

• Knowledge of Flying multirotor and other UAV’s

• Knowledge of Multirotor UAV's, their subsystems, and their operation

• Knowledge of Ground Control System software and autonomous mission planning

• Knowledge of DGCA regulations

• Technical Troubleshooting and Rectification

• RPTO Medium Class Licence

Remuneration: As per industry Standards

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
