Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their development through engaging activities and educational programs. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage a classroom effectively. The Child Care Teacher will work closely with children to promote their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards and promotes literacy education, math skills, and physical education.
- Create lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students, including those requiring special education or early intervention.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a positive learning environment for all children.
- Provide individualized attention to each child, fostering their unique interests and abilities.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns related to child welfare.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
- Supervise daily activities, including playtime, meals, and rest periods, ensuring safety and well-being at all times.
- Conduct assessments as needed to monitor children's development and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
Requirements

- Experience working with children in a childcare or preschool setting is essential.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and effective classroom management techniques.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning tailored for young learners.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience in behavior management strategies and tutoring is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Montessori methods or other educational philosophies is a plus.
