As a Float, you’ll step in where needed to maintain safe ratios, assist with classroom activities, and provide consistent, caring support for children and teachers alike.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, is adaptable, and loves working with children of all ages—from infants through preschoolers.

What You’ll Do:

• Support Lead and Assistant Teachers across multiple classrooms (Infant, Waddler, Toddler, and Preschool).
• Provide attentive, nurturing care to children of varying ages.
• Assist with daily routines such as meals, diapering/potty training, and transitions.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Step in quickly to support ratios and keep classrooms running smoothly.
• Build strong, professional relationships with staff, children, and families.

Qualifications:

• Meet state health requirements, including physical exam and drug screening.
• Provide documentation such as references, diplomas/transcripts, fingerprints, and background check clearance.
• Ability to become MERIT-approved based on education and training.

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Experience working with children (preferred).
• STARS certificate (preferred).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.66 - $17.25 per hour
