Floater Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. This role involves developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, supporting the holistic development of children, and ensuring their welfare in a classroom setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
• Promote child welfare by ensuring a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to support children's development.
• Incorporate physical education activities into the curriculum to promote overall health and fitness.
• Utilize Montessori principles where applicable to enhance learning experiences.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and behavior.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of lesson planning techniques and curriculum development.
• Expertise in early childhood education principles and childhood development theories.
• Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that caters to diverse learning styles.
• Proficient in classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior.
• Familiarity with child welfare practices and regulations.
• Experience in teaching physical education or related activities is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A genuine passion for educating young children and fostering their growth.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
