Mountain Minis Early Learning Academy is seeking a dependable, positive, and team-oriented Floater Teacher to join our warm, family-style childcare community! This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, loves helping where needed, and thrives in a supportive early childhood environment.

About the Role

As a Floater Teacher, you will move between classrooms (infant through preschool), assisting teachers, supporting daily routines, covering staff breaks, and helping prepare snacks and lunches. Each day looks a little different—perfect for someone who enjoys flexibility and teamwork!

Responsibilities

• Provide support in any classroom (ages 6 weeks–5 years) as needed
• Assist teachers with activities, supervision, and daily routines
• Help with meal prep, snacks, and lunch service
• Cover staff breaks throughout the day
• Maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing environment
• Interact with children in an engaging, supportive, and age-appropriate manner
• Assist with light cleaning and classroom organization

Qualifications

• ECE experience preferred but NOT required — we are happy to train the right person
• Must enjoy working with young children
• Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to changing classroom needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patience, kindness, and a positive attitude
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willing to obtain)
