Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Floater Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will serve as a versatile classroom assistant, stepping into various teaching environments to support children’s developmental needs across different age groups and program areas. Duties

  • Assist lead teachers in implementing engaging curriculum development tailored to early childhood education standards and individual student needs
  • Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior management strategies and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment for children
  • Work closely with children to promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional development through interactive lessons and activities
  • Help with lesson planning and classroom setup to ensure activities are developmentally appropriate and aligned with educational goals such as Montessori or other pedagogical approaches
  • Provide toddler care and support early intervention strategies for children requiring additional assistance in areas like speech, motor skills, or behavior management
  • Maintain open communication with parents and team members regarding child welfare, progress, and classroom updates
  • Assist in standardized testing preparations, tutoring sessions, and other instructional support as needed

Experience

  • Prior classroom experience in early childhood education settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in working with children of various ages
  • Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing educational activities that foster literacy, math, and physical skills
  • Familiarity with special education techniques and early intervention programs to support diverse learning needs
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and children
  • Knowledge of classroom management strategies to create a positive learning environment
  • Experience working with standardized testing procedures or tutoring young learners is a plus

Pay: $14.00 - $15.50 per hour
