Floater Teacher

Position: Part-Time Float Teacher (Toddler & Preschool Classroom)
Schedule: Mondays & Wednesdays

We are seeking a certified teacher (required) who is dependable, nurturing, and energetic to serve as a Float Teacher supporting our two-year-old and preschool classrooms two days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support in both toddler (2-year-old) and preschool rooms as needed
• Assist lead teachers with daily routines including learning activities, meals, diapering/toileting, and nap time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate learning and play activities
• Support positive behavior guidance and classroom management
• Follow all childcare licensing rules, center policies, and safety procedures
• Work collaboratively with staff and support a positive team environment

Qualifications:

• Must be teacher certified or hold higher-level early childhood education certification (required)
• Experience working with toddlers and/or preschool-aged children strongly preferred
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with classroom assignments
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to multitask in a busy childcare environment
• Must meet all state licensing requirements (background check, etc.)

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
