We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Floater Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Provide flexible classroom coverage, supporting lead teachers and substituting as needed to maintain consistent instructional quality.
- Assist with curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to diverse age groups, including toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary students.
- Support classroom management by implementing behavior management strategies that promote positive social interactions and emotional well-being.
- Engage children in literacy education, math activities, physical education, and other educational programs aligned with developmental milestones.
- Collaborate with teachers on individualized plans for children requiring special education or early intervention services.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administrators regarding student progress, behavior, and classroom activities.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing environments or student needs.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, standardized testing, tutoring, and teaching physical education.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage families.
