Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Floater Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will serve as a versatile classroom support, stepping into various teaching environments to ensure a seamless and engaging learning experience for young children. Your energetic approach and strong communication skills will help foster a nurturing atmosphere that promotes childhood development, literacy, and social-emotional growth. Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum development plans tailored to early childhood education standards and individual student needs
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment for children
- Engage with children through age-appropriate activities that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social skills
- Help with lesson planning and preparation to ensure smooth daily operations across multiple classrooms
- Provide hands-on care for toddlers and preschoolers, including diapering, feeding, and supervising playtime in accordance with childcare best practices
- Collaborate with staff on early intervention strategies and special education accommodations when necessary
- Maintain clear communication with parents and team members regarding child welfare, progress, and classroom activities
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, standardized testing, and tutoring methods for young learners
- Experience working with students who have special needs or require early intervention services is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and children
- Background in Montessori or other specialized educational approaches is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments while maintaining high standards of child welfare and safety
