Floater/ Toddler Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This position requires a strong understanding of childhood development principles and the ability to engage children in meaningful learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies to encourage good behavior.
• Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regarding their development.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and learning materials.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols.
• Support children with special needs or developmental delays through tailored activities and individualized attention.

Experience

• Previous experience in a childcare setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles is essential.
• Skills in behavior management, classroom management, and effective communication with both children and parents are required.
• Experience with infant care or special education is a plus.
• Certification in First Aid is desirable but not mandatory; training can be provided.
