Floating Floral Designer

French Florist is seeking a creative, passionate, and experienced Floral Designer to join our team! This is your opportunity to work with the most beautiful blooms from around the world and craft breathtaking arrangements that make a lasting impression on our customers.

Position Overview

We’re looking for As Needed, Floating Floral Designers to support our busiest seasons and peak holidays. In this role, you’ll create premium floral designs, from hand-tied bouquets and arrangements to event pieces! You’ll also help process flowers and support fast-paced retail fulfillment.

Shifts are offered on an as-needed basis, with no set schedule or guaranteed hours. You may be scheduled at different French Florist locations depending on business needs. When you accept and work a shift outside of your store’ home location, mileage reimbursement will be provided in accordance with applicable law.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and create custom floral arrangements for all occasions
• Work directly with customers to understand and fulfill their floral needs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
• Ensure flower inventory is properly maintained and restocked
• Assist with unpacking and prepping floral shipments
• Perform other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in floral design and strong knowledge of arrangement styles and techniques
• Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for color and balance
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Genuine love for flowers and creativity in your work

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods during your shift
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
• Frequent use of hands and arms for cutting, arranging, and wrapping flowers
• Comfortable working in cooler environments and handling buckets of water and floral supplies
