Job Overview

GHC Living is hiring a Floating HVAC Technician to support maintenance operations across multiple apartment communities. This is a travel-based role, requiring regular movement between properties to complete HVAC service requests.

This position focuses on HVAC repair, diagnostics, installation, and replacement in residential units. Ideal for a technician who is adaptable, self-directed, and comfortable working in different locations throughout the day.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems in apartment units
• Perform installations and system replacements
• Complete preventative maintenance and inspections
• Travel between multiple properties daily to complete service requests
• Troubleshoot issues and deliver timely, effective solutions
• Communicate with property teams on work status and needs

What You Bring

• HVAC certification and required licensing
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)
• Experience with HVAC systems (multi-family/apartment experience a plus)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while managing a mobile, multi-site workload

Work Environment

• Field-based role requiring daily travel between apartment communities
• Work performed in occupied and vacant units, as well as outdoor areas
• Physical activity including lifting, climbing, and extended standing
