Floating residential/commercial cleaner

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented residential and commercial cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to maintain appearance.
• Carry out custodial duties in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling materials.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed.
• Respond to cleaning requests in a timely manner to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and report when inventory is low.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work is preferred.
• Skills in residential painting or facilities maintenance are a plus.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
• Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
