Simplex Wellness is looking to fill multiple floor care and healthcare environmental services positions for a leading hospital in Abington, Pennsylvania. This is for a pilot program running from April through May.

Pay rate is $18 hourly

What you'll do

• The job responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting hospital patient rooms and clinical areas in accordance with healthcare standards. Duties include high-level dusting, emptying trash, cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, wet mopping floors, and maintaining a safe, sanitary environment. Candidates must have demonstrated experience in healthcare cleaning as well as floor care, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and maintaining various hard surface and specialty flooring types.
• Weekday and weekend availability is required

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience required
• Floor cleaning experience required
• Must be able to enter patient rooms, including rooms with isolation precautions
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must have a high level of customer service skills
• Ideal individuals will be self-starters with strong communication skills
• Detail-oriented, confidential, and professional
• Responsible and work well in a busy environment
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to carry up to 20 pounds at times
• Must be able to reach, bend, squat, lift and pull safely and efficiently
• Must have reliable form of transportation to get to and from work
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
• Must be able to show proof of recent FLU vaccinations

The pay range for this role is:
18 - 18 USD per hour( Abington, PA )
