Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner by getting along with customers, clients, co-workers, supervisors, managers, and all other employees.

  • Responsible for adhering to and maintaining all quality system procedures and requirements related to the position.

  • Must adhere to all safety rules and company policies.

  • Attendance/punctuality: Is consistently at work and on time.

  • Has responsibility for completing all quality checks and paperwork associated with job tasks.

  • Read and follow operator instructions and alerts

  • Will be responsible to perform all operator jobs on the manufacturing floor.

  • Relieve daily for breaks and lunch. May be assigned to machine during shift as needed.

  • Visually inspect products for defects and record both the reasons and amount of defects.

  • Move full pallets/bins of product to staging area, then after QC approval move to warehouse.

  • Bring in empty bins from the outside for specific jobs. Clean debris and scrap out of bins then bring to machines. Move full bins as needed to warehouse

  • Deliver timely supplies as needed to presses and return supplies not needed to warehouse locations.

  • Keep work area neat and organized according to 5S program. Clean as needed all aisles and debris on the floor.

  • Communicate with incoming and outgoing Floor Handler and Team Leader.

  • Confers with Team Leader and monitors schedule board for job and priority changes.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
