Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and energetic Floor Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food service experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining efficient restaurant operations to provide a memorable dining experience for guests. The Floor Manager will play a key role in supervising team members, coordinating food production, and upholding the highest standards of hospitality and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including training, development, and performance management to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Oversee food preparation, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, including food handling and food safety protocols.
  • Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Coordinate kitchen operations, including food production, inventory control, and ensuring efficient workflow during shifts.
  • Supervise food service activities in both casual dining and fine dining settings, including banquet and catering events.
  • Oversee shift management to ensure smooth operations during peak hours; handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and collaborate with vendors for supplies procurement.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards across all restaurant areas.
  • Assist in budgeting, cost control, and overall restaurant management to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Support staff training initiatives to enhance culinary skills, customer service excellence, and team management capabilities.

Experience

  • Proven experience in food industry management roles such as restaurant management, hospitality management, or kitchen management.
  • Extensive background in food preparation
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments.
  • Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
  • Prior experience in fine dining or banquet settings is advantageous; hotel or catering experience is a plus.
  • Strong team management skills with the ability to interview, train, motivate staff, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations including shift management, customer service excellence, and food industry standards is essential. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
