Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Floor Manager specializing in Sales, Merchandising, and Marketing to lead our retail operations with enthusiasm and strategic insight. Duties

• Lead and supervise sales associates, ensuring they deliver outstanding customer service and meet sales targets.
• Develop and execute merchandising plans that attract customers, promote products effectively, and maximize sales opportunities.
• Implement marketing campaigns within the store, including promotional displays, signage, and special events to boost foot traffic.
• Manage inventory control processes, including stock replenishment, ordering, purchasing, and stock rotation to maintain product availability.
• Oversee POS (Point of Sale) operations, cash handling procedures, and cashiering activities with accuracy and integrity.
• Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team skills in sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service standards.
• Monitor store performance metrics such as retail math (sales per square foot), budgeting, pricing strategies, and sales management to optimize profitability.
• Handle employee recruiting efforts through interviewing candidates and managing onboarding processes.
• Maintain organized records of payroll, bookkeeping, shift schedules, and administrative documentation.
• Foster a positive work environment by providing leadership in supervising staff shifts, managing customer complaints professionally, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience in retail sales or store management with a focus on team supervision and operational oversight.
• Strong skills in negotiation, communication, organization, and time management to effectively lead staff and serve customers.
• Demonstrated ability in merchandising, inventory management, purchasing, and retail math for accurate financial tracking.
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling procedures, cashiering duties, and retail marketing initiatives.
• Knowledge of employee orientation practices including interviewing techniques and training & development strategies.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases; excellent phone etiquette is essential for professional communication.
• Familiarity with budgeting processes, payroll administration, bookkeeping tasks, and store administrative functions.
• Supervising experience in retail environments such as grocery stores or specialty shops is highly desirable.
