SUMMARY
Inspects machined or fabricated work pieces and assemblies at assembly, inspection, or machining work centers to ensure conformance to specifications by performing the following duties.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Metallography, Metrology and Quality.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute averages, ranges, and percentages.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and/or move over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, heat, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
