Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Tech and Events Technician to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our facilities while supporting event setup and operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cleaning, custodial services, and facilities maintenance, with experience in both residential and commercial environments. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a welcoming atmosphere by ensuring all spaces are pristine, well-maintained, and prepared for various events.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning duties across multiple areas, including floors, restrooms, and resident rooms, utilizing appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Conduct janitorial and custodial tasks to uphold high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all facilities.
- Perform basic floor care, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, and assist with deeper floor maintenance as needed.
- Support event setup by arranging furniture, decorations, and equipment according to specifications while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain industrial cleaning standards for specialized cleaning projects as required.
- Operate cleaning machinery responsibly while adhering to safety guidelines to prevent accidents or damage.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of cleaning schedules and event preparations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or custodial work within commercial or residential settings.
- Familiarity with commercial floor care techniques
- Prior experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning products, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various environmental conditions.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
