About the Role:

The Floor Technician plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic appeal of commercial and business environments. This position is responsible for performing a variety of floor care tasks including cleaning, polishing, waxing, and repairing different types of flooring materials to ensure they meet company standards. Minimum Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of various floor surfaces such as tile, hardwood, carpet, and vinyl using appropriate equipment and cleaning agents.
• Apply floor finishes, waxes, and sealants to protect and enhance the appearance of floors according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Inspect floors regularly to identify areas requiring repair or special attention and report any damage or safety hazards to management.
• Operate and maintain floor care machinery including buffers, scrubbers, and extractors, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Follow all safety procedures and use personal protective equipment to maintain a safe working environment for self and others.
