Duties

• Engage with customers in retail or showroom settings to understand their renovation needs and provide tailored flooring and cabinet solutions.
• Utilize tools like QuickBooks,2020 Design software to create detailed layout designs that meet client specifications and aesthetic goals.
• Demonstrate product features through engaging product demos, highlighting quality, durability, and style options for flooring, cabinets, Countertop, and related fixtures.
• Manage account relationships through effective communication skills, negotiation, and account management strategies to maximize customer satisfaction and sales growth.
• Handle POS transactions, cash handling, merchandising, stocking, and basic retail math to ensure smooth store operations.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to promote new products or seasonal promotions while maintaining organized merchandising displays that attract customer attention.
• Support maintenance of showroom cleanliness and organization to enhance the customer experience.

Experience

• Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales within the renovation, construction, or interior design industries.
• Strong knowledge of flooring options, cabinetry design, layout planning.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful upselling in high-end sales environments.
• Familiarity with remodeling projects, interior design principles, and construction processes is highly desirable.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills combined with organizational abilities to manage multiple client accounts efficiently.
• Experience with POS systems, retail math calculations, merchandising standards, and customer service excellence is essential.
