We are seeking a motivated Flooring Sales Representative to grow our existing business and develop new accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients (designers, builders, and remodelers) to build and maintain a sales funnel.
• Present flooring, cabinet, and countertop product knowledge, explaining features, quality differences, care/maintenance, and lead times.
• Understand company products, market competition, and strategies to position products advantageously.
• Prepare estimates, quotes, and proposals; revise selections based on customer feedback.
• Negotiate and close sales while maintaining strong margins and customer satisfaction.
• Manage the showroom experience: maintain displays, samples, and merchandising to support sales.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with trade partners and repeat customers.
• Resolve customer claims and issues related to deliveries, returns, and credits.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of flooring and retail sales experience (required).
• Proven success in sales, preferably in home design, flooring, cabinetry, or related building materials.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable guiding customers through a multi-step decision process.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and confident working in a commission-only environment.
• Solid product knowledge (or the ability to quickly learn) in flooring, cabinets, and countertops.
