Flooring Salesperson / Designer

Clancy Construction is a residential design-build company specializing in custom homes and renovations. We provide a full range of services, including architectural design, interior design, and construction, allowing clients to work with one team from concept through completion. Our integrated approach ensures a seamless process and exceptional results. We are expanding our showroom presence in Mashpee and Falmouth and are seeking a motivated Flooring Salesperson / Designer to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist clients in our showroom, guiding them through flooring selections.
• Provide product knowledge on flooring types, finishes, durability, installation, and maintenance.
• Offer design advice to align flooring choices with overall interior style and current trends.
• Prepare estimates, proposals, and sales orders accurately.
• Collaborate with our construction, design, and project management teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom environment.
• Provide knowledgeable insights on renovation, construction, interior design, lighting design, and layout design to customers.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in flooring sales, showroom sales, or related interior design field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of flooring products (hardwood, tile, carpet, luxury vinyl, etc.) and design applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to balance design creativity with practical product knowledge.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple client projects at once.
• Proficiency with basic computer programs (Word, Excel; design software a plus).
• Proficiency with social media platforms, including Instagram and Facebook, to showcase products and engage with clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
