Responsibilities

• Develop and execute floral designs that meet client specifications and seasonal trends, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and aesthetic appeal
• Collaborate with the product development team to create innovative floral arrangements for various occasions, including events, promotions, and retail displays
• Conduct user research and gather requirements to understand customer preferences and incorporate feedback into design iterations
• Apply principles of information architecture and interaction design to enhance the usability of digital platforms showcasing floral products

Experience

Creative & Artistic Background

• Formal training or education in Floral Design, Fine Arts, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Visual Merchandising, or related creative field

Floral & Botanical Experience

• 2+ years experience in floral design (retail shop, studio, events, weddings, or luxury floral brand)
• Knowledge of seasonal flowers, sourcing, conditioning, and care techniques
• Experience creating custom arrangements for events, installations, or editorial shoots
• Ability to design across styles: modern, romantic, minimalist, avant-garde, etc.

Design / Fashion / Aesthetic Sensibility

• Experience in fashion, styling, branding, or visual storytelling
• Strong eye for current design trends and emerging color palettes
• Ability to create cohesive visual themes and mood boards
• Understanding of luxury presentation and high-end client aesthetics

Innovation & Creative Thinking

• Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and execute original design ideas
• Comfortable experimenting with non-traditional materials or techniques
• Experience developing signature styles or creative collections
• Ability to problem-solve creatively under tight deadlines

Technical & Professional Skills

• Skilled in hand-tied bouquets, centerpieces, large-scale installations, and event floral design
• Experience with event setup, breakdown, and on-site styling
• Strong time management and ability to work in fast-paced environments
• Collaborative mindset when working with planners, stylists, and creative teams
• Strong foundation in color theory, composition, texture, and spatial design
• Portfolio demonstrating innovative, trend-forward design work
• Experience translating abstract concepts into tangible visual arrangements

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
