Floral Designer

Overview
We are seeking a creative and passionate Floral Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting beautiful floral arrangements that meet our customers' needs and preferences. Your artistic flair and attention to detail will play a crucial role in enhancing our customers' experiences, whether for special events, everyday occasions, or retail sales. Duties

• Create stunning floral arrangements for various occasions including weddings, funerals, and corporate events.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients in selecting the perfect flowers and arrangements.
• Maintain knowledge of current floral trends and design techniques to offer innovative ideas to customers.
• Manage inventory by stocking supplies, ensuring freshness of flowers, and organizing the workspace efficiently.
• Operate POS systems for processing transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash transactions responsibly while adhering to cash handling procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the shop.

Requirements

• Proven experience in floral design or a related field is preferred. Minimum 5 yrs experience.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record is mandatory.
• Excellent customer service and and interpersonal skills, with a professional demeanor.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
