Floral Designer

Overview
Seeking a driven, floral artist to join our team. with an impeccable work ethic combined with excellent customer service skills,. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your floral design talents while gaining valuable retail and horticultural experience in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and assemble beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail
• Assist customers in selecting flowers and related products, providing expert advice on floral care and design options
• Maintain the freshness and appearance of flowers by properly handling, storing, and rotating stock
• Support merchandising efforts by organizing displays, signage, and seasonal decorations to attract customers
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately for sales transactions, including cash handling and processing payments
• Stock shelves efficiently, manage inventory levels, and assist with product replenishment to ensure a well-stocked sales floor
• Ability to lift 5 gallon buckets of water, with the physical agility to stand for long periods of time, climb ladders and assist in off site event installs.

Qualifications

• Passion for floral design, gardening, horticulture, or related fields such as landscape maintenance or lawn care
• Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
• Previous experience with retail sales, cashiering, or POS systems is advantageous
• Knowledge of merchandising principles and organizational skills to maintain attractive displays
• Ability to handle cash accurately and perform retail math confidently
• Familiarity with floral care techniques, stock management, and basic landscaping or gardening practices
• Excellent interpersonal skills to engage customers effectively and provide outstanding service
• Complete a minimum of 5 standard floral arrangement per hour

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
