Responsibilities

• Design and create fresh floral arrangements for various occasions, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail
• Assist customers in selecting flowers, plants, and related products, providing expert advice on floral design, gardening, and horticulture
• Maintain the floral department’s appearance through proper stocking, merchandising, and organization of displays
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and retail math calculations
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, offering product recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
• Support landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care and gardening to enhance the overall store environment
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and uphold store standards

Qualifications

• Proven experience or strong interest in floral design, gardening, or horticulture
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and lawn care techniques is a plus
• Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customers
• Familiarity with retail sales processes including POS systems, cashiering, stock management, and merchandising
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for arranging displays and managing inventory
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Basic understanding of retail math for transactions and sales reporting

Pay: $23.68 - $28.52 per hour
