Floral Designer Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a couple persons that are serious about this line of work. Meaning, that being available for big flower holiday's, aka, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day. This role is mandatory! Also, assisting with customer service, and maintaining the overall presentation of the shop. The ideal candidate will be willing to wear ALL that hats that it take to run a deliver local orders, along with strong organizational skills to help in preparation for Holiday's, weddings and events.

Duties

• Assist in the preparation and arrangement of floral designs for various occasions, including weddings, events, and everyday purchases.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and offering product recommendations.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the floral workspace and retail area.
• Support inventory management by stocking supplies, handling cash transactions, and assisting with POS operations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of floral arrangements and maintain high standards of quality.
• Participate in merchandising efforts to create appealing displays that attract customers.
• Engage in landscape maintenance tasks as needed, including lawn care and gardening activities.

Skills

• Production design work for Major Holidays.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is highly valued.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms can be beneficial for online sales support.
• Organizational skills are crucial for managing inventory and ensuring efficient operations.
• A good sense of humor and being able to leave your troubles at the door before entering the work place.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 38 per week
