FLORAL DESIGNER EXPERIENCED

We are seeking an experienced Floral Designer to join our team, bringing creativity, precision, and a passion for floral artistry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design, horticulture, and customer service, with the ability to craft beautiful arrangements for various occasions. Responsibilities

• Design and create custom floral arrangements for events, retail sales, and special orders, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and aesthetic appeal
• Assist customers in selecting flowers and designing arrangements that meet their needs and preferences
• Maintain the freshness and quality of flowers by proper handling, storage, and rotation
• Manage inventory levels of floral supplies, including stock replenishment and merchandising displays
• Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and processing payments accurately
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, offering product recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Support with gardening and landscape maintenance tasks as needed to enhance store presentation
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and effective merchandising strategies

Qualifications

• Proven experience in floral design with a strong portfolio of arrangements demonstrating creativity and technical skill
• Knowledge of horticulture, gardening, lawn care, landscape maintenance, and merchandising principles
• Familiarity with retail sales processes including POS systems, cash handling, and retail math
• Multilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse customer base effectively
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers professionally and courteously
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards
• Experience with e-commerce platforms related to floral or gift shop sales is desirable
