Floral Designer Part-Time or Full-Time

FLORAL DESIGNER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Consistently create floral designs incorporating innovative use of colors, floral materials, vessels and accent materials, while meeting established criteria for All A’Bloom Flowers & Gifts design styles and cost of goods
• Develop a working understanding of the basic All A’Bloom styles of design and accurately create gift and specialty floral designs based on established standards and aesthetics
• Successfully interpret client preferences on custom design orders, as well as participate in event production design as needed
• Apply proper flower fundamental handling techniques, while consistently meeting required standards of production and cost of goods
• Assist with product inventory and supply management
• Assist in care for plants
• Assist in retail merchandising
• Participate in daily set up and break down of shop including physical transportation of floral displays as needed
• Responsible for providing outstanding customer service and contributing to sales volume growth, and resolving customer questions and concerns the All A’Bloom way; participate in client site visits as needed
• Contribute to the consistent maintenance and refreshment of product merchandising
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on custom floral design experience in a high volume floral shop or design studio is required
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a team-oriented environment
• Proven ability to efficiently and professionally meet client needs
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a high level of enthusiasm and self-motivation
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
• MUST HAVE FLOWER DESIGN EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
