Floral Designer/Customer Service

Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and passionate Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design and a keen eye for aesthetics, along with excellent customer service skills. This role involves creating beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, providing exceptional service to customers, and maintaining the overall presentation of the shop.

Duties

• Design and create floral arrangements for events, weddings, and everyday occasions.
• Provide expert advice to customers on floral selections based on their needs and preferences.
• Maintain inventory of flowers and supplies, ensuring freshness and quality.
• Assist with merchandising displays to enhance the visual appeal of the shop.
• Process sales transactions using POS systems, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Engage in e-commerce activities by managing online orders and customer inquiries.
• Perform lawn care and landscape maintenance as needed to support overall business operations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
• Utilize organizational skills to manage stock levels and assist in stocking products.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in floral design with a strong portfolio showcasing creativity.
• Knowledge of horticulture, gardening, and plant care principles is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing customer engagement in diverse communities.
• Familiarity with retail sales practices, including retail math and merchandising techniques.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in customer service is essential; a friendly demeanor is key to success in this role.
