Floral/Balloon Associate

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations within our retail environment. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a proactive approach to handling various tasks. The Clerk will be responsible for managing transactions, assisting customers, and maintaining an organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and product selections.
• Maintain stock levels by organizing inventory and restocking shelves as needed.
• Support floral design initiatives by arranging flowers and maintaining displays.
• Engage in retail sales activities, promoting products and upselling when appropriate.
• Manage e-commerce orders, ensuring timely processing and fulfillment.
• Maintain an organized workspace to enhance efficiency and customer experience.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and handling transactions.
• Experience in stock management and inventory control is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Basic floral design knowledge is a nice-to-have but not required.
• Retail sales experience is advantageous for promoting products effectively.
• A proactive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration within the workplace.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 40 per week
