We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Hospitality Attorney to join our legal team in <LOCATION>. Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice on hospitality-related matters, including estate planning, environmental law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, litigation, and patent law.
- Conduct thorough legal research utilizing tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and legal opinions.
- Draft and review legal documents, contracts, policies, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
- Negotiate agreements and settlements on behalf of clients or the organization to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Stay current with evolving laws and regulations affecting the hospitality industry to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategies that align with legal standards and business objectives.
- Manage multiple cases or projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Maintain organized records of legal research, case files, and correspondence within the law office management system.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Valid license to practice law in <LOCATION>.
- Proven experience in hospitality law or related fields such as estate planning, environmental law, or litigation.
- Strong research skills with proficiency in LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms.
- Excellent writing skills for drafting clear legal documents and correspondence.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and handle complex legal issues.
- Prior experience in a law office setting or legal administrative experience preferred.
- Knowledge of legal research methods and tools essential for supporting casework.
- Exceptional analytical skills combined with a detail-oriented approach to legal work.
