Florida Licensed Gas Plumber/ Qualifying Agent

We are seeking a Florida-licensed Gas Plumber / Qualifying Agent to support our generator installation operations throughout the State of Florida.

This position is ideal for a licensed professional who can help ensure our gas piping work is performed to code and that permits can be properly obtained as required.

Requirements:

• Active Florida plumbing or gas license in good standing
• Ability to qualify a business for permitting purposes in Florida
• Experience with gas piping and permit-related work
• Knowledge of applicable Florida codes and compliance requirements
• Professional, dependable, and responsive

About the Role:

• Serve as the licensed qualifier for gas-related generator installation work
• Assist with permitting and code compliance
• Lead and supervise gas fitting crew; assign tasks and monitor progress
• Review project drawings, load calculations, and fuel specifications prior to mobilization
• Ensure full compliance with NFPA 54, IFGC,
• NFPA 58, and applicable local gas codes
• Conduct daily Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and crew
• safety briefings
• Coordinate with Project Managers, local inspectors, and other trades on site
• Oversee complete installation, pressure testing, and commissioning of gas systems
• Verify work quality and sign off on all inspection documentation
• Mentor and train Gas Fitter Assistants in safe techniques and standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
