About the Role

Flower District, part of Maylaa International Trading LLC, is looking for a talented and experienced Florist to join our creative and customer-focused team. The ideal candidate will have a flair for floral design, a passion for fresh blooms, and experience delivering exceptional service in a retail or event setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Create fresh, artistic floral arrangements for daily sales, events, and custom orders
• Maintain high standards in bouquet presentation, flower care, and display aesthetics
• Advise customers on flower selection for various occasions (weddings, birthdays, sympathy, etc.)
• Ensure proper handling, conditioning, and storage of flowers to maintain freshness
• Manage daily store upkeep including cleanliness, inventory, and visual merchandising
• Collaborate with the team on seasonal collections, promotional displays, and window setups
• Take and fulfill phone and online orders efficiently and accurately
• Support inventory control and restocking of floral supplies and accessories

Requirements

• Proven experience as a florist in a retail or event environment
• Strong knowledge of floral design techniques and flower varieties
• Creative eye and attention to detail
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Basic understanding of stock control and shop presentation
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
