POSITION SUMMARY
Position: Flow Assembler
Reports to: Flow Operations Manager
Location: Greenville, SC
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Flow Assembler is responsible for assembling parts and components in a warehouse or production environment by following work instructions, drawings, and established processes. This role focuses on consistent, repeatable assembly tasks that require attention to detail, basic problem-solving, and the ability to follow standardized procedures. No prior experience or formal education is required; training is provided.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Assemble parts and components according to drawings, work instructions, or standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality standards
- Use basic hand tools and equipment safely and correctly
- Verify parts and materials before and after assembly to ensure completeness and correctness
- Identify and report defects, missing components, or process issues to a supervisor
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Meet daily production goals while following quality and safety expectations
- Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and warehouse procedures
EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
- No prior manufacturing or assembly experience required; on-the-job training provided
- Ability to read and follow basic drawings, diagrams, or written instructions
- Basic critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks consistently
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and follow standardized processes
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role is based in a warehouse or production floor setting, where work is performed at designated assembly stations or flow lines. The environment may include noise from equipment, moving materials, and varying temperatures. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required as applicable.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position involves standing and moving for extended periods throughout the shift. The role requires frequent use of hands for repetitive assembly tasks, good manual dexterity, coordination, and visual attention to detail. Occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling of materials up to [XX] lbs may be required. The position requires the ability to perform consistent physical activity at a steady pace while maintaining quality and safety standards.
