FLS Site Supervision Engineer

 will handle the on-site inspections, focusing on specific aspects such as life safety measures, fire protection systems, fire alarms, and smoke control systems. They will assist in conducting tests, inspections, and validating installation accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

. Supervise and manage the Inspection, installation, testing, and commissioning of firefighting and fire alarm systems.

. Ensure project timelines and budgets are met while maintaining high-quality standards.

. Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and plans for fire protection systems.

. Ensure all systems comply with NFPA standards, local codes, and client requirements.

. Coordinate with contractors, technicians, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of tasks.

. Provide technical guidance and training to team members as needed.

. Conduct site inspections to monitor the progress of fire system installations.

. Perform and document functional and performance testing of fire systems to ensure proper operation.

. Implement and maintain safety protocols at project sites.

. Ensure all installed systems meet quality standards and function effectively.

. Prepare detailed reports, including progress updates, test results, and system performance evaluations.

. Maintain accurate records of installation, maintenance, and inspection activities.

Qualifications and Skills

. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Fire Protection Engineering or a related field.

. 5+ years of proven experience in firefighting and fire alarm system projects.

. 3+ years of proven experience in firefighting and fire alarm system.

. Hold certificate(s) in the field of fire life safety like NFPA CFPS.

. Strong knowledge of NFPA standards, local fire codes, and safety regulations.

. Proficiency in project management software and AutoCAD.

. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
